An Introduction to Project Leadership

This one-day course is aimed at people who are new to planning projects, project management or working as part of a project team.  The format will be a blend of taught theory balanced with real life examples, break outs, group work and discussion.  The trainer will facilitate and steer as required.

Those with more experience of managing projects may be better suited to the ISPAL course 'Managing Leisure Projects'.

Course outcomes:

 By the end of the course, delegates will have a good understanding of:

• How a project is different from 'business as usual';

• The key principles and themes of project management;

• The roles of the project team;

• The stages of a project;

• Tools and techniques;
