Planning for Open Space, Sport and Recreation

This one-day course will provide delegates with an overview of planning issues related to open space, sport and recreation facilities.

 

Course outcomes:

 

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

• Understand existing policies;

• Understand the requirements and methodology of PPG17 assessments;

• Develop and apply standards for open space in existing and new developments;

• Develop and apply section 106 contributions.

 

Mininum Experience required:

2 - 3 years

Any other student prerequisites:

Delegates will be asked to bring relevant planning policies from their own organisation.
