Club Development in Sports Facilities

This one-day workshop has been designed to suit a variety of sports organisations seeking to broaden their facility provision in partnership with sports clubs in both sporting and revenue terms.

Course outcomes

By the end of the course delegates will:

• Understand the role of Sports Clubs in developing sport;

• Understanding the barriers that Sports Clubs face when developing sport;

• Understanding the role that sports facilities can play in relation to sports clubs and to developing sport;

• Understanding how working with Sports Clubs can benefit teh community and the facility;

• Understand how investing in Sports Clubs can reduce expenditure and increase income;

• Have more information on how to form new partnerships for developing both sport and leisure.
