Developing Duty Managers

Developing Duty Managers

This one-day course explores the essential elements of being an effective Leisure Duty Manager.  It provides an opportunity to consider the leadership responsibilities and skills associated with the role, introduces the continuum of management styles and explores the skills necessary to work within and lead a team.

Our practical exercises provide a safe environment to practice different approaches, and rehearse the skills needed to deal effectively with staff and customers.

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for new duty managers, recreation assistants seeking promotion, or duty managers wanting to build confidence, or refresh their skills.
