European Standards for Children's Playgrounds: An Introduction

If your responsibilities include Children's Play, in whatever capacity, this course is a "must have" piece of training.

It is suitable for those with a basic knowledge of standards who need to assess equipment: and those who will sit the operational and annual examinations of the Register of Play Inspectors International.

Course outcomes

By the end of this workshop delegates will:

• Understand EN1176 and EN1177 and the legal implications and requirements they bring to surfacing and management.  
• Understand the changes in legislation due to come into effect in 2009.  
• Have attended a practical on-site visit to help "the pieces fit together".  
• Have received a free guide to the Standard and Changes.
